Kathryn WestersideKathryn graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of South Australia in 2016. In 2017, she moved to Perth and commenced worked as barrister’s clerk under Jonathan Davies at Alfred Wolff Chambers. Here, Kathryn gained invaluable experience in the practice of criminal law.

In October 2017, Kathryn was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and joined Robertson Hayles Lawyers as a family and criminal lawyer.

Among young lawyers, Kathryn stands out with her strong desire to excel, love for learning and her pursuit of innovative solutions to legal issues. These qualities brought success to Kathryn during her law studies where she graduated among the top of her cohort. Today, Kathryn is motivated by these same qualities in the conduct of her cases where she aims to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.

Kathryn’s quest for professional excellence in her work is balanced by her strong focus on meeting the needs of others in society. Kathryn has volunteered and worked in many church and community organisations including the music ministry, supporting high school students in the their studies, teaching English to non-English speakers and researching on legal issues facing the poor in our society. This strong desire to use her talents in the service of the community keeps Kathryn focussed on meeting the needs of her clients in their legal matters.
