James Chin – Consultant
James completed his law studies in the United Kingdom and was admitted as a barrister of the Middle Temple, London in 1984.
Thereafter, James commenced legal practice in Malaysia in 1985 primarily in banking and stockbroking litigation, merges and acquisition, corporation law and property law. During this period, James acted for major banks, stockbroking businesses and property developers.
In 2000, James was admitted to legal practice in Western Australia and worked in the leasing and property department at Clayton Utz from 2001 – 2002. In 2002, James started his own legal practice and continued to practice as a successful sole proprietor for nearly 15 years focusing on property settlements and property law.
In April 2018, James joined Robertson Hayles Lawyers as a consultant.
